Why use Internet Auction Service

Here are just a few reasons:
Tens of thousands of visitors daily from all over the world may see your items.
We Market Your Antique To The Best Buying Audience!

We use Three different online auction services!
eBay, Yahoo, and Amazon!
There are over 1.5 BILLION  page views per month on eBay!
There are over 125,000 Antiques and Collectibles for sale on Yahoo Auctions.
Currently there are approximately 60,000 antique items for sale on eBay.
Yahoo Auctions is catching up and second only to eBay Auctions!  They are free to list, and free to sell on.
We are using them more and more!!
Amazon Auctions are doing very well too!
We use all three services depending on the item!

We only sell antiques or Collectibles as they are our specialty.

This is the most innovative way to sell in the 20th century.

FEE’S
Please submit items with a reserve of over $10.00 only.
When you list your item for sale the non-refundable insertion fees are:
These fees are what ebay CHARGES US!  We do not make anything on these fees!
Item Under $25.00
$1.00 insertion fee
$.50c "reserve fee"
$.25c "gallery fee"
$1.75 insertion fees payable upfront PER ITEM

Item Over $25.00
$2.00 insertion fee
$1.00 "reserve fee"
.25c "gallery fee"
$3.25 insertion fees payable upfront PER ITEM

Each item entered will have these fees whether it sells or not.  These are the only fees involved if your item does not sell.  They must be paid UPFRONT.

FEES- IF THE ITEM SELLS
eBay’s Final Value Fee charge is  5% for items sold at $10.00-$24.99.  2.5% of the high bid price from $25.01-$1000.  A 1.25% charge for high bid prices over $1000.  The higher the selling price of the item, the lower these fees are.
I.A.S. charges a 15% commission of the high bid price of the item, to be paid when the payment is received unless prior arrangements are made.   This fee is NOT negotiable.
For example, say your Ironstone China Plate sells for $125.  You pay the reserve fee of $3.00.  You pay the eBay auction price (final value fee of 2.5%) of  $3.13, and our sales commission (15%) of $18.75.  Total cost- $24.88 for selling your item.  Which means $100.12 for you.   The buyer pays for the shipping.  All you have to do is ship your item and take your money to the bank!

SUGGESTIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL SELLING WITH I.A.S.
Rare or popular collectibles are best sellers, at a fair price.
Keep in mind that the item must be shipped, large furniture and really heavy items (50+ lbs) are not always recommended, but CAN and HAVE been sold- if you know the shipping cost ahead of time.
Be Complete In Your Descriptions, details are a must. ALL DAMAGE or any questionable damage MUST BE LISTED!  It is very expensive to ship items back and forth!  We want the bidder to be happy with the item and NEVER want to return it!!!   A photo is Imperative!  Remember the buyers do not ever get to physically see or touch the item before buying.  They are bidding on your description and photo.  If your description or photo do not describe the item well, the chances of a sale are reduced.  If you know the history of the item, or where it came from that is always helpful when selling.  Also, you MUST list any damage or faults with the item in detail!
Try to anticipate questions people may have, and be complete in your description of your item.
Fill out the provided Auction form completely.
YOU are responsible for making sure the item advertised is available and in the SAME or better condition as described.  You MUST list ANY faults in your description.  Anyone who fails to list damage or faults in their merchandise will be responsible for returning the payment to the buyer in full and will not be using IAS in the future.  Keep a running list of what you enter and your reserve prices.
You may mail us your photos/information or drop them in our drop envelope at 856 Lincoln #2, Eugene, OR.  97401

IAS or its representatives are not responsible or liable for any problems arising with payment from buyers, breakage during shipping, or sellers/buyers remorse.  We reserve the right to refuse any item for any reason.  Buyer has a right to return items if they are not what was represented.  We act as the commissioned sales venue for sellers to conduct auctions and for bidders to bid on sellers’ auctions. We have no control over the ability of buyers to buy items. We cannot and do not control whether or not buyers will complete the purchase of items they have bid on. In addition, note that there are risks of dealing with people, foreign nationals, underage persons or people acting under false pretense.  eBay has established a user-initiated feedback system to help us evaluate who we are dealing with. We also will communicate directly with the buyer to help evaluate with whom we are dealing.  We can’t predict  or guarantee payment.  Make sure the check clears before you send the item!!  ALL ITEMS SHOULD BE SHIPPED WITH INSURANCE, we are not liable for any postal damage or loss.
It is in our best interest to sell your item for the most money possible.  However, due to unforeseeable reasons we can’t accept liability for any items not sold at a favorable price.  Therefore we insist that every auction has a reserve price to make sure that no problems arise regarding minimum price sold.
