Training Programs

The Two Year Certificate Program
The Two Year Certificate program is designed to meet the needs of those wishing a general course of study in Process Work for their personal growth and education, but not currently interested in obtaining a practioner's diploma. Upon certification, a certificate of study is awarded, certifying that the student has completed two years of general study in Process Work. If you are interested in downloading the 2 year program, please go to the bottom of this page. To apply, please contact Reini or the PWCP.

The Diploma Program
This four year program leads to the diploma in Process Work. Its recipients have the right to call themselves certified Process Workers. The diploma program is primarily external: students attend seminars in their own regions, which, together with the required and recommended stays in Portland, cover the entire curriculum over a three year period. Their work is evaluated by theoretical and practical examinations after the first two years of study, and again at the end of the final year. The diploma must be renewed at five year intervals through continuing education and peer evaluation. If you want to look at this program, please go to the bottom of this page. For further information, contact us or the PWCP.

The Masters of Process Work Program
This four year program leads to the masters of Process Work degree. Is is a training in Process Work, available to those who reside in the state of Oregon. The program is based on a three year cycle of course work, followed by a year of internship, research and evaluation. The student's theoretical knowledge and practical skills are examined at the end of the second year, and again during the conclusion of the final year of study. Although recipients of the MPW are not automatically considered certified Process Workers, those who are recommended by their study commitees and satisfy the requirements for personal work and supervision equivalent to those required by the diploma program are also granted a diploma, with all its rights and responsibilities, upon graduation. If you are interested in the Masters program, please go to the download area at the bottom of the page, or contact the PWCP for more information.

Masters of Arts program in Conflict Facilitation and Organizational ChangeThe Masters of Arts program in Conflict Facilitation and Organizational Change (MACFOC) is a limited-residency degree program, and offers an independent learning approach to graduate education.
Understanding that emotions and personal experience are intrinsic to conflict and change, the program blends academic study and research with experiential skills, personal growth and awareness. It is designed to increase the facilitator’s awareness of his or her cultural attitudes, communication style, relationship skills, and the effects these have on group life and conflict situations.
