The Clark timber sale is comprised of 96 acres of ancient (500-700 yr.old) trees in the Willamette National Forest, 45 miles outside Eugene, Oregon. Treesitters have occupied the canopy of this beautiful stand of trees since April of 1998.

Many people are under the impression that trees in the US National Forests are protected in some way from logging companies. Some of them are, but the rest are not, and every day giant old growth douglas fir, hemlock, and cedar trees come crashing down to feed the relentless need of the timber industry.

This is what the USFS does to your camp when they don't like you.

Check out the Forest Service website for Clark! (You can send them email from there!)
