This is Wibisana and his daughter Trijata. They are friends of Prince Rama and Princess Sinta. I made them out of posterboard.
In this detail of Trijata you can almost make out the little holes and whatnot that I had to cut out so that the shadow has interior shape and texture, not just a silhouette.
And these are the tools that I used to make them. They are on extended loan from my friend Catherine, who also makes puppets.
