Passover

This play, based on the story from the Bible, was done at the suggestion of my friend Sharon. In the Spring of 2006, two performances were done, first in Eugene, Oregon, and a second, revised version, in Arcata, California.

The production uses both traditional and newly composed music in the pelog tuning. Puppets for the major characters are borrowed from Ramayana set, with Rama playing the part of Moses, Laksmana as Aaron, and Rahwana as Pharaoh. Homemade puppets were added to represent the plagues.
