On Labor Day weekend, we started with a campout on the way to Siltcoos Lake from Redmond Washington.
This is at Rainbow Lake Campground outside of Chehalis Washington.

Nora had been sleeping before arriving at the campsite. We were both quite tired while setting up camp.

After breaking camp in the morning, we found a bridge. This is a self photo on the bridge.

We traveled south on Highway 101 and linked up with our friends Marie Kienlen and Jeff Talbert at Siltcoos Lake south of Florence.

At first, Nora liked going fast in Jeff's boat, but then wanted to go slower. This is Marie and Nora going pretty fast.

Jeff asked Nora if she wanted to drive the boat and, naturally, she said "Yes". It was fun to watch her as she turned this way and that way in circles while driving the boat.

In September, we also had a visit in Harrisburg on the weekend of the 22nd through the 24th. This picture was taken as we were going into Church.

This photo was taken in our house in Harrisburg before piling into the car for the trip back to Washington on Monday the 24th.
