Support and Partnerships

Mount Pisgah Arboretum is a non-profit organization that is funded by memberships, in-kind and monetary donations, fundraising events, fees from education programs, site reservation fees, and interest off a modest endowment. It is through a dedicated community of supporters-from individuals to businesses to other non-profit organizations-that the Arboretum is able to sustain its beautiful site and educational programs.

Some of the key players in our community of support are volunteers and community service partners. We rely heavily on volunteers for trail and other maintenance, building projects, office functioning, and staffing the Visitor Center. Our site is also largely maintained by community service and at-risk youth programs. Youth and adults with Looking Glass Alternative Schools, Northwest Youth Corps, and groups from local fraternities, churches, local businesses, and other organizations work with our Site Manager on many projects to improve and maintain the Arboretum on a daily basis. We could not offer such a beautiful site without these partners.
