Cyber-MIDI Collaboration

Cyber-MIDI collaboration is a simple process. If you are interested in collaborating with me, download one of the packages below. They each contain these items:

• A standard MIDI file of basic tracks
  
• A basic score/lead sheet of the song
  
• (Optional) A low resolution audio file to use as a reference (for vocals, guitars and other non-midi tracks)
  
• A Read Me file of instructions
  

The package comes as either a StuffIt or ZipIt archive. Choose the one supported by your platform.

Once you've downloaded your Cyber-MIDI package, all you need do is open the midi file with your sequencer and add your own tracks to the file. Feel free to add anything your imagination and taste suggest. When you are finished, e-mail the MIDI file back to me at "msouther@efn.org" (you needn't return the other files in the package). I will sync up your parts to the original analog tracks and mix a final version down. If you would like a copy of the mix, send a SASE to:
