was born on January 11, 1886 in Boston, Massachusetts.
(Sponsors were Hermann Wessling5 and Adelheid Wessling.7)

 

NOTES:

1. She may have later married Franz X. Gilger since she had signed a document dated circa 1903 using that surname. She had been a court appointed guardian for her children's estate and had been required to file reports, many of which were sent from Germany, at regular intervals regarding that estate.

2. She was known to have been alive as late as 1903 and was residing in the area of Münster, Germany. It is believed that she and her children went to Münster circa 1896.

3. These children were baptised at Holy Trinity Church.

4. She was the child's aunt.

5. He was the child's uncle.

6. She returned to the United States, arriving at the port of New York on December 1, 1923 aboard the SS "Orbita". According to the ship's manifest she was to continue to Boston, where she would stay at the home of her aunt and uncle on Dorr Street in the Roxbury section of Boston. The funds for her ticket had been provided by a cousin.

She gave as the name of her next of kin, her 'father', Franz Gilger, whose address was Südstraße 110 in Münster.

7. She was most likey the child's maternal grandmother.
