WILHELM HEND WESSELINCK
He married Venne Helene Thyen on September 16, 1773 in Lingen
at the Church of St. Bonifatius.
The groom was from Laxten and he was 28 years
old.1
The bride may have been born in Holthuisen and she was 22 years old.
- They were the parents of the following children:
-
- Johannes Hermannus
Bernhardus 2
-
was christened on June 14, 1774 in Lingen.
(Sponsors were Joannes Henricus
Wesseling 3 and Euphemia Funcken.)
- Fenne Grete
-
was christened on April 21, 1779 in Lingen.
NOTES:
In 1768 Wilhelmus Henricus was a "Levantes" for a child of
Johannes Heinrich Krieger and Catharina Aleidis Wesselinck.
Given that there was a 5 year difference in the ages of these 2
children, perhaps another child was born in 1775 or in 1776.
1. As a Wilhelm Henricus Wesselinck was baptized on June or
July 6, 1743 in Lingen, he may have 30 years old at the time of his marriage.
2. He may have died on February 21, 1775 "in civis".
3. He was most likely the child's uncle and brother of
Wilhelm Henricus.
