Sweet & Sour Beef Stew 1/2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 3/4 - 1 inch cubes 1 16 oz. package loose-pack frozen stew vegetables (3 cups) 2 10 3/4 oz. cans condensed beefy mushroom soup (or garlic mushroom soup works well too) 1/2 cup bottled sweet & sour sauce 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper In a 3 1/2 to 4 quart slow cooker, place stew meat and frozen vegetables. Stir in 1/2 cup water, soup, sweet & sour sauce, and ground red pepper (add more pepper if you actually want to taste the spice) Cover and cook on low-heat for 10-11 hours, or on high-heat for 5-5 1/2 hours. This goes great with any kind of bread, or even over rice!
