- HIKING TRAILS AND WILDFLOWERS by Keith and Barbro McCree -

From Timpanogas Lake campground, it is a pleasant and relatively easy 4
km. hike to Indigo Lake, with its spectacular view of Sawtooth Mountain.
There is another view of the mountain and lake from a rock outcrop about
3 km. up the Indigo Extension Trail.
Fall is the best time to visit this area. It is notorious for mosquitoes
in summer.
