Spring Skiing on South Sister

We attempted to ski South Sister the previous weekend, but were turned back at 7,500 feet by poor weather and limited visibility. Of course, the day after we returned to Eugene, we were blessed with a high pressure system that brought wonderful weather. Not able to fight the urge, we returned the following weekend and were rewarded for our persistance. The weather was wonderful (70° on the summit with no wind), the snow was perfect and the trip went faster than ever. Hope you enjoy the images!
