Dear “Iranian for Aryans”,

Recently, I’ve had an opportunity to read your opinion regarding White Power music. I disagreed with some of the things you stated, and I would like to explain some things you didn’t mention.

First of all, my opinion is that not all music that isn’t classical is bad. Some modern bands also play music, which celebrates European history and, which recalls the Nordic myths and sagas. One such kind of music is called heavy metal. Not all metal is glorious and powerful, but such kinds as symphonic metal are quite similar to classical music.

As an example, the Swedish band Therion, in their latest CD -- “Secret of the Runes” -- tell the entire Nordic myth of world creation through mighty ballads. Same with the band “Wizard”. In their CD, “Odin”, they tell the story of “Ragnarrok” in such a way, that it reminds me of the ancient epics of the skalds, except with modern touches. Electric guitars may not be classical music, but it in no means is something that shows that we, Europeans, have completely lost our touch with our history.

Mostly only European bands play metal music – from Sweden, Germany, Italy, etc. The lyrics, as an example, are like “Thor the mighty, Thor the brave, crush the infidels in your way…” and many musicians look like Viking warriors. And where do you think most metal musicians get their inspirations? Of course, no other then the great Wagner! They may play heavy music, which may be difficult to listen to for some people, but they are living evidence that our Aryan roots have not been forgotten. Almost all such musicians are aware of our Aryan roots and, no doubt, honor the great trinity as you call them: Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven. Isn’t this celebrating European history? Does this show that all we have left in the world to preserve our European heritage are Palestrina, Buxtehude, and Purcell? It shames me to agree that I do not know these composers, but I definitely know that Beethoven is much more than some St. Bernard dog from Hollywood. I guess that even the skinheads who play WP music aren’t that naive…

So, our Aryan heritage is not being forgotten, but actually being promoted by the younger generation of power metal bands.

Finishing about metal music, I would like to comment on your saying, “One cannot genuflect to two gods: it’s either Haydn or Hell!” Skinhead music is not the most sophisticated or beautiful, but you cannot compare it to Hell. At least WP music is for the white people, it isn’t pop or any other kind of rap-crap. And, I remind you again, that Haydn is not the only other choice. Therion, Wizard, Blind Guardian, and Hammerfall are good, even thought their music may not be as beautiful as that of Mozart.

Another thing, if you are against Jews, didn’t you ever think about who’s playing the violin in one of Mozart’s pieces on a CD, or who is playing Beethoven’s music on the piano? Of course, most likely a Jew! Jews have power even over classical music, even though they do not promote it.

As an ending to my letter, I would like to mention that Kevin Alfred Strom is not ruining his broadcasts by giving examples of WP music. He knows what he is doing, and is actually giving quite nice examples of WP music.

In writing this letter I’m not trying to promote metal music or anything, I only want to say that we still have something left of our European heritage, and Therion is reminding us of it.
