Unions, ethnic/racial/lifestyle organizations, benevolent associations, co-ops, churches, schools and educational institutions, social justice, public interest, environmental, sustainable community groups of all sorts are on our target list.

As citizens and community members of Oregon, our public interests would be better served by:

1. More diverse, locally relevant programming on OPB which supports community development, human understanding, and dialogue among all people of Oregon.

2. A Community Advisory Board (CAB) that is a vital, relevant, community partnership with independent, representative input on policy and programming at OPB.

We therefore ask that these changes to OPB’s policies and practices be instituted immediately:

1. Establish a truly representative CAB that meets regularly, with financial and administrative support to conduct its meetings and activities independent of station management.

2. Develop and commit to a plan (with the CAB) - including time line and budget - for expansion of community relevant programming and services on all OPB media.
