Currency exchange quilt show
At DIVA, 110 W Broadway, Eugene, OR
This exchange involves quilters from the U.S., Japan and New Zealand. I believe 30 quilters from each country. Each participant was to chose any kind of currency and do an interpretation of it in the quilt. The quilts are all 30 centimeters square and have already been travelling around between the 3 countries for about 2 years.

As survivors of this huge flood up here in Lewis County, WA we are sponsoring the "We survived the Flood of 2007" quilt challenge
Buy 1 yard of flood recovered fabric (all has been washed, dried and some even pressed!), use the fabric on the front of your quilt and enter it at the shoppe on or before July 16, 2008. Quilts will be on display July 21st through the 26th, prizes awarded for creativity, use of fabrics, etc. No rules for size. We don't need more rules at this point. We need recovery.

Wallowa Mountain Quilt Guild Show will feature over 150 quilts. The show is judged by popular vote, and quilt entries from all locations and of all types are encouraged. The featured quilter for the 2008 show will be announced. The show also features a vendor’s mall and dessert concessions.

Sew Oregon - The Road to Inspiration
In July of 2007 the First Annual Sew Oregon took place. Many shops from all over the state banded together like blocks on a colorful quilt, and you were the thread that bound it all together and made it great. We can't wait to do it again!
Featuring 40+ Shops covering the entire state - At each participating shop, shop-hoppers will receive a free pattern and fabric kit for that shop's featured block. Collect as many as you can and make a commemorative quilt! Kits feature a theme fabric selected specifically for the event.
