A Quilter’s Journey presented by The Kitsap Quilters will present their 24th annual quilt show,on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 10 AM to 8 PM, and on Saturday, February 20, from 10 AM to 5 PM at the President’s Hall, Kitsap County Fairgrounds, in Bremerton, WA. Features include an exhibit of lovely quilts, vendors, demonstrations, and on-site Cafe. The featured artist this year is charter member, and prolific quilter, Margaret Mathisson. Donation $5.00.

The Tri-City Quilters’ Guild will hold its 27th Annual Quilt Show and Merchant Mall, “Smell the Roses…Quilt Your Dreams”, on Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Three Rivers Convention Center, located at 7016 W. Grandridge Blvd in Kennewick, Washington. The hours will be Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A $5.00 donation is requested at the door. Parking is free. A food and beverage bar will be available throughout the show. The National Featured Artist is McKenna Ryan. The guild’s Member Featured Artist is Barb Sherrill. The show will feature 400 quilts, raffle quilt, merchant mall (35 vendors), demonstrations, Guild Challenge quilts, door prizes, silent auction, Hoffman Challenge, antique sewing machines, Joyce Larsen (on-site quilt appraiser) and the “Cups for Cancer” exhibit (unusual/whimsical display of unique “bras”).
