In modern controversy since 1800s many books have exposed many layers evidence & possible theories about ancient empire of Atlantis, from the Meditranian sea to Antarctica. LETS speculate & intuit how our earth seasons cycles began in 10k BC, with BH Clow, Alan & Delair speculated that our seasons began after earth’s last great polar & crush shift. They assume earth was rotating around a stable vertical (to the ecliptic) axis gravity-field before the pole- shift to 23o (about 1/8 of a circle) as it is now. How did it tip-over? all at once, or in wobbles, suggested by Velikovsky: catastrophies at 1,500 BC & 750 BC, Worlds in Collision. The great seasonal changes were extremely different around earth during that disasters, as noted by Alan & Delair (Cataclysm: convincing evidence for a cosmic catastrophy in 9,500 BC. If earths spin was 90o to solar plane of planets in orbit, our climate would be very stable, tho vary according to place on earth, not the seasons cycles. The bioregional energy changes & species would be more complex when seasons shift the angles of cosmic energy input to earth, thru many layers of shifting atmospheres & gravity fields. More new species will evolve when the new energy ranges are between freezing & 100oF where life flourishes, & cultures grow. It seems earth would need an axial poleshifts to change the angle of rotation to 23o from 90o, where poles would have constant cold dim daynite & hotter equator zones be relatively more stable until a global geospasmic cataclysm. After the poleshift, the ‘Chandler’ earth-wobble began to loop 7o every 13-15 months, with variation. The other variable is now being measured is earths magnetic fields, that also shift a few degrees/year. What cosmic disruption could change these 2 north & south earth poles? Also what similar cosmic force could pull or push our planet into new rotation, orbit &or angle of axis to our sun? Velikovsky says it was a wandering comet that nearly hit earth jerking its axis of rotation, possibly slowing the spin = length the day & nite. If the giant poleshift at 10k BC was followed by 2 later smaller catastrophes, as Velikovsky describes, then many empires, villages & species were destroyed then. & the legends could be about any of the 3 devastation's, in different bioregions. Clow claims that Egyptian history reveals true stories of catastrophes that extincted Atlantis & others. They were forgotten because of the terrors it caused & centuries of long family struggles of survivors, who passed on stories, of forgotten ancestors pain buried in mysts of earth evolving slower, yet stressing for 5,000 years, until agriculture began growing populations that became big empires.
The Expanding & growing Earth theory is radically different that current continental-drift & plate tectonics that admit sea-bottoms grow out from volcanic ridges, but deny earth grows in size & volume. Does earth core create metals that rise-up thru volcanos, then being deposited in veins & scattered concentrations we can find, mine & use.
