|Forest ecology is growing in all rainforests, temperate & tropical jungle. Children love trees, birds, water & wilderness. So how can we work & play with forests to preserve, reforest & enjoy our watershed bioregions with respect, selective care & balancing our harvesting with the vast abundance of nature's creations. Our goal & purpose of Kids Forestry is to preserve, use & enjoy all the organic life of forests, with children involved in growing up whole.

Many natural fun cooperative learning games have grown up since 1970s like New Games, Playfair, Acclimatization & Sharing Nature with Children, all great program books about back to nature playing with our senses alive & understanding patterns of local spaces & species. We also need to sustain a quality of life, using resources in harmony with local creatures, like the Indians do depending on nature. Saving Rainforests, greenbelts, wilderness, rivers & natural farming lands is essential for survival, as many species & eco-zones are being destroyed by toxic polluting technology & progress, based on schooling for big business.

We need to perceive the patterns of culture & nature in contrast, evolving with our health interacting together in multiple causes & effects, sources & results. So much rainforest has been destroyed: cut, raped & extincting species; rivers dammed, farmlands flattened, rowed & ruined by chemical poisons, fuels/fumes & fertilizers. We need wholistic recycling, conserving by having close encounters with 'kids forests now & forever involved!' Forests are the local earthy source of our watersheds we need for drinking, cooking, cleaning, irrigating farms & gardens now. Natural forests hold massive water in soil, snow, ground & plants. Rivers & streams are just the tip of the underground-watertable, like veins under our skin are 1% of our total blood vessels system, flowing unseen as needed to balance nutrients.

So we support the Zero-cut of 'old growth' trees, that need to grow & rarely be cut-down selectively in Eco-forestry sustaining whole forests of watersheds we need & love flowing thru our food & water cycles. Clear-cutting a forest & jungle is rape, like lawns golf-course & monofarms flatten natures infinite diversity of growing organic life. Clear-cutting forests happens because we 'demand' the wood & paper products that require gigantic logging operations, extracting wood to process for our civilized consuming habits of wasting trees to produce print, packaging, building, burning etc.

Clear-cuts cause vast devastation (like a war zone)erosion, clogging dams & streams that ruin needed fish, bird & mammal habitats, endangering & causing extinction! Clear-cutting forests dry out woodlands can catch on (forest & field) fire easily. All this prevents evolution of diversity in balance naturally growing, by demineralizing the forests soil base. Massive burning of huge rainforests happens in 3^rd world countries to clear lands for roads, mining, beef-cattle grazing, agrofarms, housing, business & dams that destroy the fish flows of organic fertility. Agroforestry & agribiz farming poisons the land, plants & bugs to maximize control for big profits faster, exporting most 'product$!'.

Both clear-cutting & burning forests raises the smoky C02 & CO in the air, heating & cooling the air = 'greenhouse-effects' of global climate crises of drouts, floods & crop failures. Meanwhile simultaneously city, cars & factory air-pollution can cause acid-rains to falls on forests & farms, homes & animals, stunting growth & killing plants, while it stresses our natural health needs into environmental illness. Most consumers are choking on the air we breathe.

So now we're trying to get in touch with the primal elements of energy in nature & our bodies locally. But many of U$ smoke to feel air breathing? 'drink & shower' to contact water? Get pop-entertainment or take-drugs to feel good, mellow or thrills? & get money, bad-food, medicine & stuck in habits, to feel better now? The solutions to all these are with mother nature.
