GREAT-BIOMASS IN LOW-WORK PERMACULTURE
Lazy PC - Letting & Watching green grow organically

Natural plants emit good-energy-vibrations, is why millions of folks have indoor/house plants, even in offices, studios, banks, etc. Plants also emit oxygen we breathe. So the growing biomass movement is naturally healthy, the more we do, be & enjoy the green growing in spiral patterns.
LOWork PC works when we’ve cleared &or planted a designed area we let grow naturally. In PC homestead designing we plan much growing.
But mother Nature is the BIG cause that grows more grass & weeds than we can count. Being at peace with Nature, we help it grow beauty & org.
food. LOWork PC comes after the clearing & chopping & cutting down to open-space & enrich soil to grow new species there. So we plant fruit & nut & windbreak trees, vegie gardens, herbs, etc. LoWork allows more playing & enjoying the sensations, patterns & beauty, than sweating it up.
In the first few building & growing seasons we work harder to set up a whole eco-system. Then let them grow organically, if you can relax with that. The loWork PC process happens after most the landscaping, new buildings are up, plants are established, during winter & anytime we leave the land to Nature. Low-work avoids the lawn-mowing, straining to prove it, & the chemo-poisoning weed-killing wars, to keep it clear cut!!
We do clear weeds & some bugs from work, play & kitchen spaces.
I live on AinaOla subtropical rainforest in Kapoho Hawaii, on 3 acres of hand-cleared grown-over cinder land, with big Mango trees on it. The first year was hard-hand-work by 2 men & few friends, sweating it out. 100s of ‘weed trees’ were cut down & piled up to make burms & a maze of trails, that quickly over-grows with wild vegie/weeds. We hand-clear the trails to keep them open, winding around the land where fruit trees are planted. Most plants grow fast here, & weeds can overtake a bush, tree or garden, as biomass continues to grow all year round. So we now have 2-4 times the biomass than before the clearing. Nature loves filling most wet open space & cover-the-ground, growing whatever will seed & start up. Like we have 100s of vines growing on anything it can. We love to breathe with the plants: natural green ‘air conditioners’ purifying our air, like the rain does?! Organic biomass is a free blessing of mother nature we love in this creative chaos of ‘tangle orchard labrynith of spagetti trails to walk where birds dance, perch, sing & eat some raw fruits growing here. This is a primative PC homestead in the semi-jungle in hollow land, lower than the low ridge the road goes up, so we walk down into our valley settlement. Our loWork lets us share more with neighbors, relax, learn & grow more healthy, aware & creative, coasting after 1 yr. set-up finished.
But we still make improvements, plant more fruit trees & garden vegies.
It takes little effort to maintain AinaOla & harvest abundant creations.
Biomass grows rapidly where weather & soil support it abundantly, we allow &or enjoy its presence. Dense biomass is good for insulation, silence, bird living, fresh air, soil & mulch making & holding, eatable land- scape, vast diversity, lots of shade & windbreaks, soft place to lay down, holds water, source of organic compost material, thick ground cover herbs.
Low work PC allows one much freedom, once local food sources are
connecting to provide us enuf organic food for good health. We have much free/leisure time for other goals & needs, interests & concerns. Like local ecology/green issues & needs. We can do research, rest, explore, study, learn, experiment, travel, detox & heal, make love, do arts, massage, crafts, writing, camping & vision quests, internet, & free energy work & harvesting. PC is great for outdoor living, in mild-warm-tropic climates. Except for the bug fobic folks who ‘must stay indoors’ behind screens to be comfortable at home or anywhere. I thin PC is the natural healthy way to get of the power-grid, design & build home, grow our own loving family, whatever climate changes, econo-crash or cataclysm happens?! We are surrounded by beautiful green biomass that nature grows free with us.
