Thanx for THE BIG COVER STORY ON (angry?)STREET KIDS was a dramatic LIBERAL analysis of their problems lacking real solutions, without digging into the sources of pain & fear of LAWS & styles of parenting with punishment that family-wars USE to kill their young-spirit of common-sense, love & natural health. They are rejected & stressed, wounded & wandering, trying to belong in street-gangs of self-conscious rebellion.

STreet kids are threatened & punished, blamed & drugged for needing more, feeling more resisting & being open to universe, sex, herbs, drugs or natural freedom, for years before running (thrown) away to the 'bums' on the street. Their parents have forgotten what its like to need more, be different (unique) & fear adults laws, so the 'generation gap' seperates those families. They need trust & emotional support now tremendously to open up after years of 'normal' behavior controls.

Most run-aways are suffering, struggling to get enuf to make it thru the days, cruising by nic-names, cussing for fun, pigging out on 'free' junk-foods & getting sick & paranoid, while hidding at nite from old-pain from heavy-abuses. STreets are very hard, toxic hi- stress places, with busy business, that may hate kids that make customers feel guilty for their classy good taste, luxeries & private addictions. AMericans 'love' cars, great-taste, sexy TV trends, news & super computers more than their children now. This is cultural suicide, like toxic waste chemikills & radiation sickening our pure waters, air space & bodies. STreet kids are role-playing, insecure, scared & tense mind & bodies, challenging the system by mere presense, being hungry, needy, camping & stealing what they want or need now.

The current media focus on kids needs & suffering & violence is another cycle of concern, like in 1992. But will we admit, share & connect the deep problems, causes & solutions in any new groups of community services or parenting systems that replace hi-stress agist control & competition: We need honest-trusting making-agreements to learn openly & cooperate with any ages, whose civil-rights to equal access with respect to social equality rules in the spirit of freedom not fear. It takes a reducation, learning deeply how natural tribal & emotions all flow in parenting peace at home with passions.
