Immanuel Velikovsky claims in his book Humanity in Amnesia that we've collectively forgotten most natural, global & cosmic catastrophies, even tho they're recorded in legends of 100s of tribes, histories, myths, etc. It's well known that most people have forgotten our birth, bonding, infancy, childhood experiences, dreams & love. It's rare for humans to recall birth or past-lives without a psychic assisting or reading it.

We have long & short term memory, ancient family & tribal memory that's faded away with rising of cities, fear, empires & industry. There's vast evidence of world-round pandemic forgetting of our roots, ancestors & traditions, even by 3rd world natives, not just civilized hi-techies in city grids. Our memories are replaced by vast records, signs, ads, reminders, clocks, news, diets, mystery, fictions, recipies, codes & zones grids, policies, laws & orders, rules & campaigns of new & improved products we need for classy living & techy status. It began big time in WW2 when government totally took over populations in 'war time' mobilization & mass control for winning the global threats..

The gradual trashing of our bonding with each other & nature began with big empires, fear of religion gods, westward migrations, fast living, gold rushes, trains, telegraph, radio, phones, movies, TV & now computers cyberspace deeply seperating us from our roots, emotions & freedom to play in pace with nature like animals do. It seems that our calulators have amputated our mental ability to calculate numbers in our head, by using digital devices now. We've replaces the circles, spirals & waves with squares, cubes, boxes & hexagons of control.

Could it be that gradual fadding of our magnetic field has unbonded us with earth & our feeling experience now? One cosmic theory is that it's our karma that causes all these problems we have to recall to learn, solve, heal & prevent or continue stuck in bad habit patterns depending on big dad & mom to make & sell us what we have within?!

Even Indians have lost & forgotten their ceremonies, rituals, beliefs, homelands, customs, legends, songs, icons, histories, skills, tools & magic, are somewhat recorded by anthropology & newage researchers. Many native rituals & artifacts are sold to western tourists & art collectors for $$$$ In fact genocide of natives usually happens with their loss of homeland, memories & awareness they need to use daily to sustain natural community living . This has sucked them into industry, tho many natives resist it, going into poverty, welfare, addiction, crime & sometimes reverting to their spiritual path by practicing some old ways. There seem to be as many white seekers doing old native- practices as natives are now?! We've even forgotten our to touch, agree & trust our instincts to eat, grow & live naturally.

The tragedy of modern mass-media is trashing our family, neighborhood & natural lives by artifical gridworks, new ideas, big science, military, crime, speed, moneytime, good jobs & giant schools run by industry. Few moderns now bond with babies, earth & universe, unless they drop the popular ways to be organic, free, spiritual & down home, do it yourself & cooperate more than compete, race & save. OUr current awareness of these gaps & needs, methods & potentials attracts us to seek & use: relaxing & meditating, massage & Chinese medicine, herbs & organic foods we can grow at home with ancient skills we now call Permaculture, that helps us regain our centers of lovenergy in balance.
