Cooperating Together in Honest Trusting 4 Our Common Good
We live in
autocratic, dominating & controlling hi-tech society, schools, jobs,
police, etc. So most of US never
did cooperate with anyone outside our family & kids playing together
freely. Our leaders just assume
& believe we know whatÕs right, good, approved & will follow rules. ThatÕs based on social role-playing in
classtatus of school grades, job roles, rank & ratings. We need to learn how democratic
meetings are fair, honesty, open, sharing toward agreements to work & play
together, making decisions we can trust serving all our healthy relationships.
So where is our
real democratic respect for social equality, fair cooperation here now?
Corporation donÕt
cooperate, they compete while controlling from hierarchy positions.
HereÕs some
kinds of new democracy weÕve been trying for sharing our perceptions of local
natural needs for Cooperating in our communities: openly, honestly, fairly
& for our sharing resources:
Anticipatory, Grass-roots,
Local, Bioregional, Consensus
decision-making, town halls, future brain-storming, Peoples
volunteer protests with solutions, circle & heart sharing councils. Like the localization movements since
y2K scare in 1998-9m now surging with Iraq war of Bush neo-con oil industry,
the exploding climate crisis & rising recession of US war economy, we need
making critical decisions in our local communities, governments & schools
& business.
HereÕs some qualities
we need for having honest democratic meetings, sharing, deciding how where
gonna cooperate in communities of people we know & trust. How accountable are our public servants
to any public standards of honesty, fairness, efficiency, we trust or not
now?
Are any US
Constitutional civil rights ever broken or expressed by anyone in agencies or
citizens in need here now?
How responsible
are they to folks they represent?
Do they
cooperate with public openly?
How do give open
public access, reporting regularly or on request?
Do they have any
secrets to hide or share to
public, reporters or lawyers?
Does the rep
have agree with people they pledge to serve our needs deeper than money, fears
of toxins or crime?
Are they willing
to discuss any secrets that are hidden by anyone concerning public space, peace
or resources.
Are they aware
of US or State Constitution applied to local politics & agencies serving
public?
Will they study
anything they donÕt know to respond
report details, facts, results & costs to people requesting
information.
Does the rep
available to here public with respected to understand & respond positively?
or excuse away inability to seek solutions or change anything effecting people,
nature or future health effects systems of life?
Do our
ÔdemocraticÕ leaders pole people to get accurate feedback on current programs,
complaints, needs, fears, or
solutions for heavy problems damage.
Or do they just
talk at people, not requesting real experience & needs now? WeÕre used to being talked at, not
interacting with deep ??s, respect, caring how we feel! WhatÕs the causes of problems, very
efficient solutions we need?
WE need to
relearn what democracy is, how it works, with causes & effects, social
equality, honest feedback,
majority rule, concensus, public hearing & collective brainstorms of how we
feel with any public system, business, common space & infrastructures we
donÕt see, but benefit or suffer with?
Micro<~>Macro
Democracy meetings in
small groups & big gatherings sharing opening our concerns, needs,
complaints, fears, abuses, damages, problems, unfair rules & policies,
police & laws; proposing new solutions we can agree on for future resolve
with real resources we commit to giving & receiving, with responsible &
accountable feedback system for public responding quickly
Currently there
too many government meetings & not enuf local open community meetings about
sharing, deciding &or volunteering, or demanding help, & providing services
for protecting, helping & preserving our natural & human resources
& civil rights, expressing & resolving complaints of ills caused by
public toxins, abuse or rejection by agents refusing to help or provide accurate
information about budgets, policies & abuses by agencies, multiple chemical
& radiation (electro-pollution), to stop clear-cut total-logging our public
lands deforesting, destroy-ing wildlife habitats, poison spraying forest &
watersheds. Toxichem drift from
farms spraying fields, or attacking Organic farmers for complaining about GMO
seed drifts.
