ÒNEIGHBORHOOD POWERÕ book in  David Morris '70s,

I just found  you reviewing HEAT, great summery. Bit shocking to U$.  The challenge of causing the climate-crisis ecospasms is from mostly unconscious effects of consuming & waste by millions of happy shoppers, unaware of energy used to make the goodies we use. Plus the solar energy blasts of CME from solar-flares in peak-cycles super-charg-ing up earth &our wild weather!.

You mention the basic problem of protesting the results of our behavior, waste & polluting.  The unique campaign requiring 'austerity', conservation & slowing = power down.  We need becoming more conscious of causes & effects of our total energy, gross & net uses & waste into nature.  Even the

effects of consuming on our health is equally unknown, except some allergies. I find that consuming acids is toxic in air, water, food, drinks & pos-ions of heat &  most synthetics.

Our "ecological footprint' is a physical way to learn how much we use, need & waste wherever we consume. Most of US have emotional challenge of unaware needs & habits learned from schools & advertising.  The learning curve is steep being un-aware & deeper if addicted to consuming habits

while assuming the infinite supply of importing energy & goods from beyond our bioregion.

I been living simple voluntary, recycling, renewable & natural since early 70s, cheaper, slower,  more healthy, aware balancing. But healing many childhood addictions taken decades of healing & REBIRTHING. Is Neighborhood PowerÕ still in print in just got
