What’s ENERGY INDEPENDENCE?

In U$ & at home in bioregion?

National Energy independence been raved since 1970s when mid east oil/gas source was shut off for months to shock the global oil sucking/burning grid of war economics. So the goal of ‘Energy Indy’ was hyped for getting all US energy needs from $ucking oil from North America. However independence also mean not depending on giant power grids for filling our needs at home living with harvesting incoming natural energy in our bioregion, as done for millennia by millions of farmers & eco-Villages in all countries. We’ve long forgotten our ancestors live sources, fading under great newage science tech invading our cities sucking rural resources & people into modern city life. Especially if they were abused in their families or villages, then escaping into city poverty & slavery zones since US civil war.

The sources of oil/gas/oil have 3 mysterious problems:

1. Current accurate measurements of oil ‘reserve’ far underground are rare if not impossible to know, as new discoveries are often made, what a surprise?!?!?! So honestly predicting oil supplies is likely impossible.

2. Nations & industries PR ability to lie about sources to create false scarcity, fears & inflating prices, etc.

3. Abiotic Oil creation – of deep process earth making oil with microbes digesting carbon in rocks, see Deep Hot Biosphere’ geology book ‘99 by Thomas Gold of Cornell Uni. Has lots of real earth energy evidence I‘ve read twice.

4. The Peak oil advocates usually ignore the above conflicting problems when charting supplies over years & decades to predict future energy trends.

So national energy independence is now impossible for our industrial oil, gas, chemical & mineral energy needs for monster (war) industry progress ever bigger, faster, richer & complex = suicidal the ‘Total toxic loads’ of waste & pollution in U$ making millions sick daily & yearly dying form hi acids synthetics, after years of drug & surgery treatments to rescue U$ from junk foods, drinks & drugs. To those greasy chemical & radiation excitoxin addicts, energy independence is another pop fantasy, like outer-space travel, eugenics, technotopia & eternal bliss our empire.

However few million of U$ are ‘powering down’ with Mother nature, back to the land & growing more healthy in harmony growing, harvesting trading for our needs with our bioregional season cycles. That’s the essense of natural sustainable living & balancing with simple needs, joys & skills of Permaculture – organic homesteading. Even better than pre-industrial ancestors did before electricity sped of our toxic dEvolution by competing, fearing & hurrying to work earning market madness of goodies.

Real local energy independence is lively home, schools & business energy conserving, & growing hemp & bamboo, veggies, herbs & animals milk we need to eat healthy, build & maintain our organic homesteads while coop-erating with nature, our neighbors & enjoying earth’s varied seasons cycles with lifelong learning patterns loving our sources of energy Footravel on land is more relaxing, energizing, health & enjoyable than gas burning vehicles. Like burning wood fires is better than burning coals, gas, oil & nukes electricity for heating our homes & bodies. We can reclaim our local democracy & sovereign independence by withing cooperative meetings to discuss & decide how to solve local problems we may share working together to know & prevent with awareness of sources.
