ECONESIA Ð Anthropology of Natives,

               Urban & Naturalizing our Eco-culture

IÕve been studying Anthropology since 1970 in U.0. when earning a MS degree in Dreikurs family counseling Ôcooperative parentingÕ & ÒSocial EqualityÓ  That began my deep curio-sity about how cultures raise & love their children in peaceful & violent ways?  I met few native (Oregon) Indians while growing up & wonder who they really are, how do they live?  So began reading radical anthro books by Edward Hall Ð ÒSilent Language & Hidden DimensionÓ;    ÒBody LanguageÓ - J. Fast;  south sea cultures - Margaret Mead, Ashley Montague 3 - ÒTouching,  Growing Young  & Learning Non-aggressionÓ & Marvin Harris deep cultural anthro professor.

The field of natural childbirth by LeBoyer MD - Birth without Violence & & Baby massage;  Michel Odent MD Ð Waterbirthing & comparing ÒNature of Birth & Breast-feedingÓ in many cultures, who I met & organized his presentations n Big Island, Hawaii Õ91. I met many Indians in Oregon, Hawaii & natives in:  Bali, Peru, Thailand,  India, Guatemala, & Yucatan, Baha & Chiapas  Mexico.  I did some rituals with them, like native Ôsweat lodgesÕ.& the Dear Dance with Don Jose of Hoichel Peyote Indian culture of Mexico.

My focus on social anthropology is how families birth  &bonding, teach & learn to share, grow & cooperate together in peaceful communities.  I love ÒThe Continuum Con-ceptÓ by Jean Liedloff on in-arms  bonding w/kids.  2 vast multi cultural studies on parenting by James Prescott on ÒPleasure & the sources of ViolenceÓ about affection & domination in families parenting children to be peaceful or violent.  The other multi-cultural survey is large book SAHARASIA Ð by James DeMeo (Reichian) detailing the patterns thru history of Patrism & violence on earth from Sahara Africa to Mid-east, central

Asia & beyond over millennia.  A deeper study of newly found primitive communal family cave culture  called ÒThe Gentle TasadayÓ 1970s by John Nance a sensitive photo journalist from Oregon I knew in Portland 1980s.

                     I still have ??s about

1. How did/do native village parents live in harmony with nature & family

                                                               in sustainable healthy ways

2.  How they get, hunt, grow & harvest/forage food prepared for nourishing

                                                                                 health & healing?

3. How do we cooperate together respecting  social equality, fairness &                                                                                        honesty

4. How creative, inspired & adventuring are children & parents together.

5. How Healthy far family & village members, how do they heal sickness.

6. What are their/our spiritual beliefs,  agree-ments,  rituals, needs, goals?
