Expression Meaning
:) , :>) , :^) , :] , :} , :-) , :*) , :-D These mean you are happy.
:( , :>( , :^( , :[ , :{ , :-( , :*( , :< These mean you are sad or are giving bad news.
:o This means a small surprise or embarrassment, you get my drift.
{:() This means you have hair and a full mouth. Use it when you are bored.
:p , :P , :*p~~~~ These are used for smart remarks, also good for flirting.
:\ , :/ This means that you are thinking, or aren't too thrilled about something that is going on.
:% You have to stretch your imagination on this one but I use it if I am feeling bad or have done something stupid.
:| This means you are in a sort of good mood.
8) This can be used when you are referring to somebody with glasses, or that you are smart.
:)) Double chin happy face.
σσ Pair of eyes.
:o) Face with a nose.
B>) A person with sunglasses on.
{:o A person with hair.
{{{Person}}} Hugging a person on-line.
:-s This means that a weird comment was said.
|-I This means that you are sleeping.
:-X This is a bow tie!
:-# This means that someone has braces.
:-c This represents being "bummed out".
:,( Represents a person crying.
:* Represents a kiss.
:-9 Means licking one's lips.
:-& This is if a person is tongue tied.
:-Q A person smoking.
^_^ This represents a pretty girl.
=:-) A punk-rocker!
