Open Lab (Public Access) Information

The Campbell Center Computer Learning Lab has 6 pentium class computers with a suite of standard software, color printer, scanner, and an excellent internet connection. Center patrons can surf the web or do email or business or play games. Personal assistance is available.

Every Tuesday and Thursday 10am-1pm
Fees:
Use of the Lab is free, but contributions are welcomed!

Open Lab Policies

The six computers in the Campbell Computer Learning Lab are running Windows 98, and have a relatively fast connection to the Internet through RIS (the County Regional Information System). Lab user/visitors are free to use the computers as desired during open public access hours.Please observe the following usage policies to make the lab convenient for all visitors and classes.

1. Please sign in on the clipboard when you use a machine, and limit your use to 30 minutes at a time if people are waiting.
2. Please do not change set-up, preferences, and control panel settings.
3. Please do not download materials to or install software on lab computers.
4. Please respect all copyright and license restrictions of material on these computers, and on the internet.
5. Please do not use these computers for any activity that might be considered hateful, dangerous, illegal, malicious or obscene. If in doubt, don't.
6. Please do not delete anything from these computers.
7. Please check with lab monitor before using email.
8. Please close programs, but leave the computers on when you are finished.
9. Normally there will be a monitor present during public access hours. Feel free to ask for assistance.
