	Aglow is a light in the darkness . . . for you and for women just like you . . . *all around the world.*

"Fifty-one percent of our world's population, or over 2½ billion people are women. They share the needs, dreams, perspectives, and concerns that are unique to women. Many, from the lady next door to the woman across the world, may live in personal circumstances or cultures that make faith and hope difficult. Without help, they may never discover God's love for them.

Aglow cares about women. We are a unique ministry by women, for women with a belief that no one can reach into a woman's world quite as well as another woman. And today, Aglow's multi-faceted ministry involving more than 15,000 volunteers, is reaching women on 6 continents-in over 140 nations-with Christ's love. And we're continuing to grow.

What is Aglow? It is an interdenominational organization of Christian women with more than 3,300 fellowships in more than 140 nations. It is one of the largest international Christian women’s organizations in the world with over 1,500 groups called lighthouses in the U.S. and more than 1,800 groups outside the U.S.

Aglow is governed by an International Board of Directors from various nations in the world.
