VOODOO MOUNTAIN ZYDECO is a band from the Pacific Northwest that pounds out primal-stomp zydeco music and gutbucket blues!  First we pump up groove-filled zydeco tunes with a beefy amplified squeezebox, a soulful saxophone and a ripping rubboard that augments the funky beat laid down by our drums/bass combo. Then we mix in some jump-blues and swinging shuffles--featuring a lead guitar cutting heads with a saxophone horn section--creating a rich  jambalaya of hip-shaking mayhem!

"Thank you for the wonderful zydeco music at OPW's (2006) Mardi Gras…the event was a great success, both financially and because everyone had a fabulous time!"
- Peter Bergel, Executive Director, Oregon PeaceWorks, Salem, Oregon
"Awesome!  Just awesome!"
- Leslie Churchill, Entertainment Coordinator, Ste. Chapelle Winery, Caldwell, Idaho

Brian Chevalier introduced Voodoo Mountain Zydeco during his performance on the KLCC stage at the 2004 Eugene Celebration.  Since then they have performed at a variety of parties, festivals and dances, including
Taste of Tacoma, The Oregon Country Fair, The Blackberry Jam Festival, The Founders Club Room at the University of Washington in Seattle, The Willamalane Island Park Concert Series and McMenamin's Kennedy School in Portland!
