How to Configure Your Email in Outlook Express for Windows

NOTE: The pictures below are for illustration purposes only. Your setup windows may be different.


1. Double click on Outlook Express icon on your desktop.

Click on Tools.

Click on Accounts.

Click on the Mail tab.

Click on Add button, then click on Mail in the menu that appears.

Type in your name and click on Next.

Type in your e-mail address (example: username@efn.org) and click on Next.

 

Type in mailhost.efn.org for the incoming mail server. Type in mailhost.efn.org for the outgoing mail server. Click on Next.

It will autofill your account name, but check it to be sure it's correct. Type in your password. You won't see the password as you type it in; you will see ******. If you want the program to remember your password so you don't have to type it in each time, click in the box next to Remember password. Uncheck "Log on using Secure Password Authentication." Click on Next .

Click on Finish.
