How to Configure Your Email in Netscape Communicator
(version 4.x)
1. In Netscape, click Edit / Preferences .
2. Double-click Mail and Newsgroups .
3. Click Identity .
4. Type in your name.
5. Type your email address.
6. The other settings here are optional.
7. Click OK .
8. Click Mail Servers .
9. Next to " Incoming Mail Servers ", click Add , or if a server is already listed in the large white box, click Edit .
10. Server Name: mailhost.efn.org
11. Server Type: POP3 Server
12. User Name: your email name, the part to the left of the @ sign in your email address.
13. Other settings in this window are optional.
14. Click the tab: POP .
15. Uncheck: [ ] Leave Messages on server .
16. Click OK .
17. Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mailhost.efn.org
18. Outgoing mail server user name: your username, the part to the left of the @ sign in your email address.
19. Never use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or TLS for outgoing messages.
20. On the left, in " Preferences ", click " Newsgroup servers ".
21. On the right, click Add , or if a server is already listed in the large white box, click Edit .
22. Server: news.efn.org
23. Other settings: Don't change.
24. Click OK .
