How to Configure Your Email in Apple Mail

1. Click Postage Stamp with Eagle to open Apple Mail

2. Click Mail in the top menu bar.

3. Click Preferences.

4. The "Mail Preferences" window should appear

5. Click the Accounts icon.

6. Click the "Create Account" button

7. Fill in the following information:

Account Type: POP Account Description: EFN Email

Email Address: username@efn.org where username is your EFN username

Full Name: whatever you want people to see as your name

Host name: mailhost.efn.org

User name: username, no @efn.org needed

Password: ******** the same password you use to get online

SMTP Host: mailhost.efn.org

8. If your version of Apple Mail asks, make sure "Use authentication when sending mail" is checked; type your password and username.

9. Click the OK button

10. Close the Mail Preferences window

11. Congratulations! Your Mac is now configured to get your EFN email!
