Poems by Linvydas Krivickas

"When she's alone recalling my existance ..."

Away, sometimes when I am alone driving,
I imagine you in the car with me, reaching
across to stroke the length of my leg in its
silk stocking, and that it gives you pleasure.

Sometimes when I am alone in the cold at
night, I wish that you were there, that you
would pull me to you and put your hand under
my sweater and touch the bare flesh of my
side, and that your touch would
instantly warm me and calm me.

* * *

As she flies through the pink clouds of sunset,
I will think of you.

I wish you could be with me to give me
a courage and feed,
I wish you could be with me in a bed.
I wish you could be with me to share
a morning meal.

I wish you could be with me at night,
when I am so alone.
I'll be back on a day's night for You,
think of me now and then.
