St. John Bosco House is a home for young women and their children organized by the Lane County Catholic Worker. Serving mothers ages 18 - 25 who are having a housing crisis, Bosco House provides a stable and safe environment to help residents resume an independent life.
Originally founded to serve homeless youth, the first Lane County Catholic Workers quickly discovered that the largest unmet need locally was a place for young women. While services exist for juvenile mothers, once they turn 18 many young mothers fall between the cracks.
HELP!Bosco House is currently seeking fulltime, live-in volunteers. Without Workers we cannot operate our programs. Please explore our web pages and contact us if you are interested!
